WEST FARMINGTON - Maranacook’s Abby Mace and Mt. Blue’s Hannah Allen embrace after finishing in a tie for first place in classical skiing competition. FARMINGTON - The Mt. Blue High School cheerleaders have extensive experience appearing at state-wide sporting events, rooting on the various Cougar teams from the sidelines.

This weekend, for the first time, they’ll be the team taking center stage when they compete for the state championship.

FARMINGTON - Colby College shot 55.9 percent from the field, including 66.7 from 3-point range, to roll past the University of Maine at Farmington 88-45 in non-conference women’s basketball action tonight at Dearborn Gymnasium.
