Industry’s annual Fourth of July fireworks show will be held on Saturday, July 3 at Ronnie Wing’s field off Rt. 148. Gates open at 5 p.m. $10 a carload. No walk-in’s please. Food Vendors will be on site. Ronnie passed away earlier this year and there will be a salute in his honor. All the proceeds from the evening’s events benefit the Industry Fire and Rescue Department.

Rangeley’s night light show kicks off at about 9:15 p.m. on Saturday, July 3 at Lakeside Park after a full day of family activities scheduled from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Carrabassett Valley is sticking with the tradition of holding Fourth of July events on July 4. Fireworks begin exploding at 9:30 p.m. following activities for the whole family at the town park. Beginning at noon, the Outdoor Association’s food booth opens, pool opens 12:15 p.m. Children’s parade line up at Tufulio’s Parking Lot 12:30 p.m. to town park. Lots of events from 1 to 5 p.m.

More Independence Day events on July 3:

FARMINGTON – Farmington Rec Department’s Flagg Family fishing derby begins 8 a.m. at Abbott Park; Rotary Club’s parade begins 10 a.m. (line up at 8:30 a.m. at UMF’s High Street parking lot) Strawberry Shortcake from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on the Pierce House Lawn on Main St. Free hotdogs at Henderson Memorial Baptist Church after the parade to benefit the ECU heating fund.

RANGELEY – Rangeley Lakes Logging Museum Auction, 10 a.m. Also 10-4 p.m. at Lakeside Park, Children’s Day Parade, Arts & Crafts Show and fireworks finish the day.

JAY – The Jay-Livermore Falls Fourth of July parade begins lining up at MEMCO in Jay at 3 p.m. for a 5 p.m., start and marches to Ware-Butler in Livermore Falls.
