Dance marathon fundraiser will support the arts

Dance Marathon Graphic copyRANGELEY – The Rangeley Friends of the Arts is holding a Dance-A-Thon at the Rangeley Lakes Regional School beginning on Friday evening, March 18 at 6 p.m. and continuing through the night until 6 a.m. on Saturday, March 19. Prizes and special awards for dancers, as well as great music, dancing and special events will make this a fun event for both participant and spectator.

Dancers need to raise a minimum of $100 in pledges to participate. The Winner (the Last-Dancer-Standing) in each age group will receive half of their pledge amount back. Age Groups are: 14-21, 21-35 and Everyone Else. The more pledges raised, the greater the Winner’s prize! Additional prizes will be given for Best Dressed, Best Dance moves & more! Don’t dance? Come cheer for your favorite dancer. General Admission is $5.

Everyone who loves to dance or wants to support the arts in Rangeley is encouraged to participate! Pledge forms are available at RLRS, at the Chamber of Commerce and complete information and forms may be downloaded by clicking on the Dance-A-Thon tab at www.rangeleyarts.org. All funds raised will go to support youth arts programs in the Rangeley Region.
