FARMINGTON – The Franklin County Fiddlers will be presenting a spring concert on Monday, May 22, in presentation forum at Mt. Blue High School at 7:30 pm. The concert is free, and donations for future FCF projects and trips will be accepted at the door.
The 2016-2017 fiddlers have had an exceptional year, with concert, clinics, and a voyage to Burlington, Vermont, Montréal, Québec and Québec City, Québec. During the year the fiddlers played at a Veteran’s Day ceremony, and at both Togus and the Maine Veteran’s Home in Augusta. They performed at the University of Maine at the Farmington for the Honors Program, and for the Fiddlehead Festival. Autumn found the fiddlers at the Maine Arts Commission workshop, and collaborating with Fiddle-icious for two concerts. They also played their annual favorites, the Weld Town Hall concert, and the Home for the Holidays FCF reunion.
