NORWAY – On Friday, April 10 at 7 p.m., Norway Memorial Library will host the Teacher’s Lounge Mafia, an improv comedy troupe, for an evening of laughter.

Performing in the style of “Who’s Line is it Anyway?” The Teacher’s Lounge Mafia have been bringing hilarity to western Maine and beyond since 2008. “Built from audience-provided suggestions, Teachers Lounge Mafia delivers improvisational games and sketches designed to yank people right out of mud season and on to higher ground.” The group consists of Natalie Simmons, Kyla Wheeler, Jeff Bailey, and Dan Ryder. Inspired by Upright Citizens Brigade, Saturday Night Live, The State, Kids in the Hall and the works of Noel Paul Stookey and Ted Turner, Teachers Lounge Mafia strives to bring something different to the foothills of western Maine and still be allowed to live here.

Free tickets will be required to attend this event. Doors will open at 6:30 pm. For more information contact the reference desk at 743-5309 ext. 1 or norlib@norway.lib.me.us
