KINGFIELD – MSAD 58’s string ensemble performed the “Star Spangled Banner” as a concert opener with the Bangor Symphony Orchestra for the 2016 Kingfield Pops concert on Saturday.
The students played onstage, along with members of the symphony under the direction of Lucas Richman, director of the Bangor Symphony Orchestra. The students were prepared by their teacher, Graybert Beacham, who was also performing with the symphony along with his wife, Karen Beacham, who is a music teacher at Mt. Blue RSD.
