FARMINGTON – Completely unscientific studies show laughter to be an excellent source of metabolism. Make room for this week’s turkey and stuffing with an evening of improv comedy courtesy the Mt. Blue Curtain Raisers, 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 25 at the Bjorn Auditorium on the Mt. Blue Campus.
The Mt. Blue Curtain Raisers perform unscripted, audience interactive comedy, built on the suggestions provided from the crowd. They perform short form games like those popularized on “Whose Line Is It, Anyway?” as well as original scene-based games, that combine a little bit of everything. The audience provides the ideas and the Curtain Raisers deliver the laughter.
Each year the troupe travels to Boston in the spring to perform at ImprovBoston, a professional comedy theater in Cambridge. Donations will be accepted at the door to support this trip.
