FARMINGTON – The Harvest Hoedown performance will be held 10 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 5 at the Farmington Community Center on Middle Street. The Harvest Hoedown, a fall dance program created by Sue Jones through the Farmington Parks and Recreation Department, culminates with the dance performance on Saturday.

Jones, a dance instructor and choreographer, has directed the Community Center’s Christmas Dance Show as well as the Rec Department’s “Spring It Up” dance and creative movement event held in April.

Jones and her daughter, Abby Howell, have been teaching children ages 3 to 10 different types of dance this fall at the center, all while having fun. The program is offered at no cost to the participating dancers.
