INDUSTRY – Sparrows Nest Theater in Industry is pleased to announce auditions for its spring show Sarah, Plain and Tall. 
The play is based on the Newbery Award winning book by Patricia MacLachlan. In the year 1910, a widowed Kansas farmer with 2 children places an ad in the newspaper seeking a wife. He receives a reply from Sarah Wheaton of Maine. This heartwarming story of family relationships on their way to permanence is a perfect fit for Mother’s Day weekend.
Auditions will be held on March 9 and 10 at the The Olsen Student Center at UMF, from 10 a.m. – noon and at Somerset Abbey, 98 Main St. Madison from 2 p.m.-4 p.m. There are roles for 3 adult females and 3 adult males, ages 30-60 and roles for children/youth ages 8-17.
