Taylor Made Music performing at Mother’s Day event in Phillips

Singer/guitarist Danny Taylor, above, and bass-player/singer Doug Mathieu of Taylor Made Music will hit the stage at the Phillips Area Community Center on Sunday, May 8, from 3 to 5 p.m. for a Mother’s Day event.

PHILLIPS – Farmington singer/guitarist Danny Taylor and Anson bass-player/singer Doug Mathieu will present an afternoon of classic country and classic rock at the Phillips Area Community Center this Mother’s Day afternoon.

The duo, known as Taylor Made Music, have a lifetime of experience playing classic and modern country, classic and soft rock, and blues. Doug is a songwriter as well as a performer; Danny has toured from coast to coast – together they put on a great show.

This Mother’s Day event will take place on Sunday, May 8, from 3 to 5 p.m., at the Phillips Area Community Center at 21 Depot Street in Phillips. Admission is $8 for adults, $4 for students/children. Refreshments will be available for purchase. The “old gym” will be set up with a lobby area, and chairs set around tables for a “café-style” experience. There will be a small dance floor for those wishing to dance. This is a perfect activity for mothers of all ages, and families are encouraged to attend. For more information, call 639-2630.
