FARMINGTON – It’s a new school year and the Music Boosters are off and running with dancing shoes to start the season! The 8th annual Al Corey Big Band Autumn Dance, sponsored by the Mt. Blue Music Boosters, is Sept. 27 at the Mt. Blue Middle School.
A wonderful evening of Big Band music from the 40s, 50s and 60s with the Al Corey Band will be joined by professional dancers and instructors Billy Shinzel and Danielle Ruane. They will conduct a dance clinic from 6-7 p.m. teaching ballroom basics as well as the Foxtrot, Waltz, Tango, Salsa and more, plus be present for the dance which is from 7-10 p.m. to help and demonstrate as needed.
Refreshments will feature the chocolate fountain with fresh strawberries and many other items to sample.
Please join us for a wonderful evening of dance and music while helping the Music Boosters to support the wonderful music program in the Mt. Blue Regional School District grades K-12.
Tickets may be purchased in advance at Devaney,Doak & Garrett Booksellers in Farmington or The Wilton Public Library in Wilton. Advance tickets Adults $15 / Students & Seniors $10.
