FARMINGTON – SugarWood Gallery welcomes Theresa (Terrie) Haley as April’s Artist of the Month with an Open House Reception on Friday, April 3 from 4 to 7 p.m. and on Saturday, April 4, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
A Farmington native Terrie began painting in 2012 while attending a ‘Painting Party’ hosted by a friend. There she received instructions and painting tips and her inner talent blossomed. She is a prolific water colorist with a terrific eye for color, texture and shading.
Energetic is an understatement in describing Terrie. Bowling, hiking, rappeling and avid National Hot Rod Association event follower are among her interests and activities. Her current community activity is organizing a Relay for Life team and raising funds for the American Cancer Society.
