The Exploring Plein Air Art Camp will be held from Monday, June 22 through Thursday, June 25. Campers will be creating plein air paintings and driftwood sculptures. Fee is $25 a day or $75 for the four-day session. The camp, for Kids age 7 & up, will be hosted by artist Mardy Bogar

A nature and art camp, Creative Imagination Takes Flight, will be held Monday through Thursday, July 20-24, from 1-4:30 p.m. Birds can inspire the artist in you at this fun art-meets-nature camp for kids ages 7 & up! The camp will be hosted by Mary Beth Morrison and Laurie Walker $25 a day or $75 for the 4-day session.

Activities include art projects inspired by nature, such as printmaking without a press on paper and cloth, using natural materials. Children will use their prints to make cards and story boards. Also one of a kind weavings incorporating natural and found materials, as birds do their nests. Children will construct their own loom and choose their materials and mobiles that defy gravity. These are a good way to learn respect for balance, using found materials and ingenuity to construct graceful structures that resemble flight.

The third camp, Connecting with nature using Art and Poetry will be held Monday – Thursday, Aug. 3-6, from 9am to noon. The camp, for kids ages 7 & up, involves creating a book in which campers are the author and illustrator. Fee $25 per day or $75 for the four day session. Hosted by Sarah Carlson and Mardy Bogar.
