FARMINGTON – Finnegan’s Hooligans is a stunningly-good youthful string band from the Brunswick area. On Saturday, May 14, they will perform their first ever Franklin County concert, when they hit the stage at Nordica Auditorium.

The band consists of Finn Woodruff, fiddle; Perrin Davidson, Banjo; Adam Berliner, Guitar; Isabella Pignatello, Vocals. Their repertoire consists of Bluegrass classics, plus a few jazz and pop songs. Despite their youth (most of the band members are still in high school), they are long on experience, and loaded with virtuoso levels of musical talent; several members of the band used to play in the well-known Brunswick area band, Ethos.

The concert will benefit the Farmington Emblem Club, and will begin at 7 p.m. refreshments will be offered for sale at intermission. Admission: Adults – $10; Students (6-18) – $5; UMF students and children 5 and younger – free. For more information, call Stan Keach (207) 397-2241.
