AUBURN – The Center for Workforce & Professional Development at Central Maine Community College will offer a CompTIA Network+ certification course on Tuesday and Thursday evenings, 5 to 9 p.m., from March 26 to April 25.

CompTIA Network+ validates the knowledge and skills of networking professionals. It is an international, vendor-neutral certification that recognizes a technician’s ability to describe the features and functions of networking components and to install, configure and troubleshoot basic networking hardware, protocols and services. Many corporations and organizations recommend or require the CompTIA Network+ certification for their IT employees. As the demand for skilled network support professionals grows, CompTIA Network+ is quickly becoming the standard for networking competency.

Cost to attend is $1,800 and includes all instructional materials (six-month access to a practice exam, TestOut Network Pro access for 18 months, and an exam voucher. Total instruction materials package has a retail value of $695).
