FARMINGTON – A local business and author will be celebrating their respective 25th anniversaries together Friday, with a literary themed party, book signings and fabulous prizes.
Devaney Doak & Garrett Booksellers on Broadway is celebrating its milestone alongside nationally-acclaimed Farmington author Bill Roorbach, who released his first book, Summers With Juliet, 25 years ago. The festivities run from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at DDGs on Friday, May 27.
The party will feature beloved characters from favorite books and literary challenges. Attendees can win desirable prizes by identifying the book from the object, guessing the identity of eight mysterious books in the window, and matching the Old Friend to the correct quote. Roorbach will be on hand to sign copies of a just-released new edition.
