FARMINGTON – On Oct. 13 at the Entrepreneurs Connect event at the Fairbanks School Meeting House, local entrepreneurs, business owners, and community members will have the opportunity to network and learn from presenters who have entrepreneurial experience themselves. The event will take place from 4 to 7 p.m.

Entrepreneurs Connect is an opportunity for local entrepreneurs to get inspired, think big, be bold and challenge themselves to grow their business and take it to the next level. This October event will focus on the journeys of three area entrepreneurs with keynote speaker Bob Berry, Main-Land Development Consultants; Kelley Cullenberg & Sarah Doscinski, Spandits!; Monica Chandler, Azulene Day Spa; and Anne Holloway, El Toro Maine. Resource presenters include Arielle Walrath of Might & Main talking about telling the story of a business, Tammy Knight of Maine Made discussing opportunities within the Maine Made program, and Grace Phillips of Belle Cove LLC will talk about her experiences with the Maine International Trade Center.

The Greater Franklin Development Council, the Franklin County Chamber of Commerce and the Women’s Business Center at CEI are co-sponsoring this Entrepreneurs Connect event. This is their third Entrepreneurs Connect event which will continue to be held bi-annually in the spring and fall, to help create a culture for entrepreneurs and small businesses to challenge themselves to grow their business. Our region already has a great deal of opportunities for entrepreneurs to work together, and we hope that this event continues to encourage those opportunities.
