Farmington’s outdoor farmers’ market opens Friday

The Sandy River Farmers’ Market starts its outdoor summer season today.

FARMINGTON – Farmington’s Friday farmers’ market will kick off its summer season on Friday, April 29. The market is held 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Fridays on Front Street, across from the Better Living Center.

This Saturday will be the final indoor market in the Grange Hall in West Farmington. Next Saturday’s market will be at the Fiddlehead Festival at UMF. Starting May 14, Farmington’s Saturday market will move to its summer location, in the courthouse parking lot on Main Street, 9 a.m. to noon.

Western Maine Market order pick-up will be available at each of these markets, and starting this week, Friday order pick-up will move across the street from the BLC to noon – 2 p.m. at the market for the season. Hours & days for our other locations remain the same. Find out more here.
