JAY – Franklin Savings Bank has promoted its Jay branch manager and added an assistant branch manager to its Skowhegan Branch.

Jay Branch Manager Diane L. Jackson has been elevated to the corporate title of vice president. Jackson, who celebrates 10 years with the bank this month, has done an excellent job managing the daily activities of the Jay branch since stepping into the branch manager role in early 2015, according to Shelley Deane, executive vice president, administration and human resources.

“Diane provides all who visit the Jay branch with the highest level of customer service. She always puts the customers first in choosing the right product to best match their personal situation and their financial needs,” said Deane.

Jackson also serves as the underwriter for the bank’s Home Equity Loan Program (HELP), which is serviced at the Jay Branch. “Diane’s close collaboration with the Jay lending staff and the lending staff at the main office ensures that these loans are closed quickly and accurately.”

“Jackson’s strong banking and management background enable her to provide exceptional services to Jay, Livermore and Livermore Falls,” she added. “We are eager to watch Diane grow at this new level. She is a humble leader and a thorough lender with a large impression. Diane is a true community banker who cares about her community and its people.”

In addition, Franklin Savings Bank has promoted loan officer, Patrick Dore, to assistant branch manager and loan officer at the Skowhegan Branch. Dore, who is a Skowhegan native, returned to the Skowhegan area when he joined the Franklin Savings Bank team May 2014.

Dore studies business and finance at the University of Southern Maine and recently graduated from the Northern New England School of Banking. He is active in numerous community organizations in Skowhegan, including the town’s budget & finance committee, Main Street Skowhegan and the Skowhegan Rotary Club, where he was recently appointed to serve as president for the 2017-2018 year.

“Patrick has shown a great initiative to learn and develop his lending role while always serving the financial needs of his customers,” said Deane. “We are very excited to have him take on this new challenge and assist in the oversight of many of the branch’s day-to-day activities under the solid guidance of our Skowhegan Branch Manager Sally Dwyer.”
