AUGUSTA – Maine contractors and employment agencies will be participating in 5th Annual Job Fair in conjunction with a popular construction trade show on Wednesday, April 16 at the Augusta Civic Center, 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
The 34th annual Construction Expo of Maine opens at 11 a.m. Wednesday April 16 until 7 p.m., and continues on Thursday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Over 125 companies from Maine and six other states will display construction equipment, vehicles, trailers and parts; concrete products and materials testing, communications, financial and bonding services; safety supplies, lubricants and much more.
Several companies will conduct demonstrations in their inside booths and outside exhibit space during both days of the show. Nortrax will have two equipment simulators available for people to test their operation skills. Darling’s will be offering test drives in their pickup trucks both days, with donations from the test drives and from their ice cream truck on Wednesday afternoon going to the NAWIC Maine Chapter’s Scholarship Program. A limited number of booths, both indoor and outdoor, are available for the show.

Construction Expo of Maine is sponsored by the Maine Chapter of the National Association of Women in Construction, and supports the Chapter’s scholarship program.
