Keith Cornelio announces bid for District 74 House seat

JAY – The Jay, Livermore Falls and Livermore Republicans nominated Keith Cornelio as their candidate to represent the people of Jay, Livermore Falls and part of Livermore which makes up District 74 in the Maine House of Representatives. Cornelio replaces Mary Howes on the ballot.

Cornelio is no stranger to hard work having spent 44 years working at the Androscoggin Mill where he served as the president of F & O Local 247 before retiring as power plant team leader in 2011.

He also serves as a selectperson for the town of Jay where he and his wife Shirley have lived for the past 50 years and raised their five daughters. He and Shirley are members of Wayside Bible Baptist Church.

“I have entered this legislative race to represent the people of House District 74. I want to make sure their voices is heard in Augusta,” said Cornelio in a press release.

“Keith Cornelio will be an asset to the Maine House of Representatives. I know he will make his constituents proud,” added House Republican Leader Ken Fredette.
