FARMINGTON – Most people are familiar with “Cyber Monday,” the Monday after Thanksgiving when online retailers offer extreme deals and other such promotions. Downtown Farmington is pleased to offer an alternative to the frenzy to take you away from your computer screens and into a more welcoming, friendly atmosphere on Cider Monday.

The premise is simple: stop by a participating business to browse and shop and be greeted by a smile and a hot cup of apple cider. On top of that, there is the opportunity to get a head start on some holiday shopping while surrounded by shelves of great holiday gift ideas that you can feel and touch, all while knowing that proceeds from your purchase stay in your community.

Participating businesses include: Devaney, Doak, & Garrett Booksellers, The Calico Patch, Minikins, Enchanted Herbs & Botanicals, Twice Sold Tales, Reny’s, 3-D Games and Sugarwood Gallery.

  1. Will you be open later, so people who are working can take advantage of this great idea?
