Nancy Marshall Communications honored at Maine Public Relations Council Awards

AUGUSTA – The Maine Public Relations Council honored Nancy Marshall Communications for outstanding public relations work during their annual Golden Arrow Awards and Holiday Social held recently in Portland.

Nancy Marshall, CEO of NMC, states, “I continue to be proud of the work that the NMC team has been producing for our clients. As we head into our 24th year of operation, we continue to develop and refine our skills to help our clients define and then exceed their marketing goals. It’s a pleasure to work with such a talented team of professionals.”

NMC’s creation of an integrated Facebook campaign for Maine Lakes & Mountains Tourism Council that grew their fan base from 500 to more than 16,000 and captured 1,816 email leads was recognized by the MPRC with a gold award.

Another gold award was presented for NMC’s media relations work on the Summit Natural Gas of Maine groundbreaking ceremony press conference. By carefully scheduling, branding and repurposing content, NMC was able to deliver a return on investment (in publicity value) of 95:1.

A silver award was presented for NMC’s branding development for The Maine Beer & Wine Distributors Association’s responsibility initiative. The initiative used a combination of public service announcements (PSAs), news releases, direct mail and social media marketing that resulted in a publicity value return on investment ratio of more than 36:1.
