Produce Safety Alliance Grower training

FARMINGTON – On Friday, April 5, The University of Maine Farmington will be offering a course on the foundations of farm food safety best practices and co- management information, FSMA Produce Safety Rule requirements, and details on how to develop a farm food safety plan. The class will be held in the Olsen Memorial Student Center – Conference Room 123, with parking available at Lot 15 – behind the Student Center on High St.

Includes training manual, Produce Safety Alliance (PSA)/Association of Food and Drug Officials (AFDO) course completion certificate, lunch and snacks.

In addition to learning about safety best practices, key parts of the FSMA Produce Safety Alliance (PSA)/ Association of Food and Drug officials (AFDO) course completion certificate, lunch, and snacks.

In addition to learning about produce safety best practices, key parts of the FSMA Produce Safety Rule requirements are outlined within each module. There will be time for questions and discussion, so participants should come prepared to share their experiences and produce safety questions.
