FARMINGTON – Laura Hadley school bus driver for RSU 9 and top transit bus driver in the state of Maine for 2013 is headed off to Charleston, S.C. to compete with other national and international winners and show off her safe driving skills.
Hadley will be attending the NSTA conference July 19 and 20th. The conference is full of learning opportunities for drivers as well as the driving skills competition. The trip for Hadley is sponsored by the Maine Association of Pupil Transportation, an organization that organizes school bus driver training around the state of Maine.
“We wish Laura the best of luck,” said David Leavitt, director of support services for the Mt. Blue Regional School District.
