FARMINGTON – Sen. Angus King squeezed in an informal luncheon meeting at Franklin Memorial Hospital between two high school visits on Dec. 19 to get updates on the challenges of delivering high quality health care in a rural setting.
King and members of the FMH leadership team discussed numerous topics including the opioid crisis, hospital finances and payor mix, and how a repeal of the affordable care act would potentially affect the hospital.
