October offerings:
Starting or Growing A Small Business – Introduction to the Business Model Canvas, a one-page template demonstration. Discover a new and different way to outline hour your business works. Appropriate for entrepreneurs just starting or current business owners. One Class – Tuesday, October 21. 6-8 pm. Cost $25.
The Perfect Omelette! – In the tradition of Julia Child and as served in the renowned Café L’E’toile at Macy’s in Herald Square, NYC, learn how to make the traditional French Omelette. Fluffy eggs, your choice of filling, and lots of fun! This will be held at the Cafeteria in the Central Office, 9 Cedar Street. One class – Wednesday, October 22. 6-9 pm. Cost $10.
November offerings:
Microsoft Excel – Learn how to set up, design, and complete a spreadsheet using basic applications. This is a four- week class. Tuesday’s starting November 18. 4-7 pm.
December offerings:
Self-Care Through Ayurveda – Discover ways to create health through the tradition of Ayurveda, the Science of Life. Please bring paper and pen. One Class – Tuesday, December 2. 6:30-7:45 pm. Cost $15.
Maine Driving Dynamics – This course offers all drivers the opportunity to improve their defensive driving skills. Instruction will cover collision avoidance techniques, safety issues, driver habits, and attitude. Those completing the course will receive a 3 point credit on their driving record. Two classes – Tuesday, December 2 and Thursday, December 4. 6-8:20 pm. Cost $40 for 64 and younger, $10 for 65 and older.
Microsoft PowerPoint and Publisher – These classes are designed for the novice user and for those transitioning to the latest upgrades and enhancements. This is a four-week class. Tuesday’s starting December 16. 4-7 pm.
