LIVEMRORE FALLS – Below is a listing of Spruce Mountain Adult Education course offerings and a gift idea in December.

Gift Certificate
Give the gift of learning this holiday season! Have you recently taken a fun class with us? Want to give that experience to someone else? Loved ones and friends will love this gift to acquire new skills and meet friends in the community through Spruce Mountain Adult Ed! Gift certificates are available now through Friday, Dec. 19.

Driver Education
Roy’s Driver & Rider Education has been providing quality drivers education classes for Maine residents for over 50 years for individuals looking to get their Maine driver’s license or Maine motorcycle license. We offer Maine driver’s license education classes year round and Maine motorcycle license education classes’ seasonally. Please call Roy’s Driving School at 784-6245 to secure your spot. Next class starts Monday, November 30th and will be held at Spruce Mountain Adult Education.

1, 2, 3 Magic & More
This award-winning video-based program provides easy-to-learn parenting techniques that work for children ages 18 months to 12 years old. Learn simple steps to control obnoxious behavior, encourage good behavior, and strengthen relationships with your children. Enjoy results quickly. Classes will be held starting Wednesday, Dec. 2 to Dec. 16th at 4 p.m. This is a free class.

Meeting Your Guardian Angel
This is an interactive workshop that focuses your ability to connect with and communicate with your guardian angel. Using hypnotic techniques, as well as relation and guided imagery, you will receive support and guidance from these special helpers in Spirit. Please bring a beach chair and sleeping bag and 1-2 pillows. Class will be held Wednesday, Dec. 9 at 6 p.m. The cost of this class is $30.

Driving Dynamics
This course offers all drivers the opportunity to improve their defensive driving skills. Instruction will cover collision avoidance techniques, safety issues, driver habits, and attitude. Those completing this course will receive a 3-point credit on their driving record. This is a Department of Transportation sponsored class. This class will meet Tuesday, Dec. 15 and again Thursday, Dec. 17 at 6-8:30 p.m. The cost of the class will be $40 for 64 years of age and younger; $10 for 65 years of age and older. Attendance is required for both classes to receive a 3-point credit on your driving record.

Reiki Level 2
Training in the second degree consists of learning additional symbols and in absentia (also known as long-distance or psychic) healing. Your second attunement increases your ability to channel Universal Life Force energy. Please bring water. This class will meet Wednesday, Dec. 16 at 5:30 p.m. This cost of this class will be $60.
