Titcomb Mountain ready for great February vacation

WEST FARMINGTON – The mountain will be open special hours during the week. On Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday the mountain will be open from 10 am to 4 pm. On Wednesday it will be open from 10 am until 8 pm. On the weekends, Titcomb Mountain will be open for regular hours, from 9 am to 8 pm on Saturdays and 9 am to 4 pm on Sundays.

In addition, we are planning children’s activities on most days to get everyone outside and enjoying winter fun. The activities will include a scavenger hunt, “lucky t-bar” and lollipop race. Please check our website, www.titcombmoutain.com for daily updates for activities and conditions.

Titcomb Mountain will have two ski free events during the vacation week. The first ski free event is Wednesday, Feb. 20 from 4 pm to 8 pm. This free ski night is sponsored by the Medical Staff of Franklin Memorial Hospital. The second ski fee event will be on Friday, Feb. 22, from 4 to 8 pm. This free ski night is sponsored by Franklin Savings Bank and Western Maine Financial Services. In addition, Northern Lights Rental Shop is offering equipment rentals on a first come- first serve basis for just $5 per person during both events.

We are also offering our Student Night on Saturday nights Feb. 16 and Feb. 23, from 4 pm to 8 pm. Students may purchase a lift ticket for just $10 and equipment rentals for only $8.

Titcomb Mountain is now offering a number of great deals on day tickets and trail passes to make it easier for families to get outside and have fun this winter. Here is a summary of the specials that are valid through the end of the season:

1. Multi-day punch passes – Punch passes do not have to be used in consecutive days and are valid through the balance of the season.
Alpine: $80 – 5 Punch Pass- 5 Full Day Lift Tickets for the price of 4 days.
Nordic: $40 – 5 Punch Pass- 5 Full Day Trail Pass for the price of 4 days.

2. Family deal – Family lift ticket package is valid for single day use only.
$75 – Total for lift tickets for up to 5 members, ages 6 to 69.

Sunday Only Special:
Bring a friend and receive $10 off one Full Day lift ticket
Bring a friend and receive $5 off one Full Day Nordic trail pass
The Maine Learn to Ski and Ride Card -$92 per person
2 days at Titcomb and 1 day at Sugarloaf or Sunday River
Package includes one group lesson at Titcomb, daily rentals and beginner hill lift ticket at each mountain. Card and group lessons are for ages 8 and older. Please call 48 hours in advance for lesson reservations.

  1. So glad to hear that great things are still going on at Titcomb! Three generations of our family have skied and boarded at this safe, family -centered slope. Thanks to all the volunteers who help keep it an affordable place to play!
