FARMINGTON – The Touch of Class thrift shops in Farmington and Jay have launched a new system, in which tags will mark goods that are 50 percent off each week.

The sales are taking place at all three thrift shops: in Farmington at 303 Wilton Road and 206 Broadway, and at 25 Jay Plaza Lane in Jay. The sale utilizes different colored tags each week to show which items are discounted.

Touch of Class is a Work First program, designed serve the individuals in the community with intellectual disabilities. Touch of Class is always accepting good, clean donations of clothing, books, kitchen supplies, pocketbooks, footwear, and linens.

Hours are 10 a.m. until 5 p.m., daily.

  2. I shop, and donate, to Touch Of Class. LOVE this store! Hardly ever have to buy anything at ‘regular’ stores anymore!
