FARMINGTON – There are always those people who work behind the scenes preparing everything for the start of the school year. People who are always busy, but never too busy to smile. People who make sure everything is ready for the students’ first day. At the University of Maine at Farmington that’s Little George and Big George.

George Josselyn (Little George) has worked at UMF for 18 years and is the buildings and grounds maintenance crew leader. George Guptill (Big George) has been here 8 years. They travel together making sure summer events happen, offices get moved for the new academic year and students arrive to clean rooms.

  1. A dynamic duo…I always appreciated their hard work and great attitudes….even when things had to be moved more than once! They work great as a team! UMF is fortunate to have such wonderful employees.

  2. These two Georges are the BEST! Always smiling and fun to be around and ALWAYS leave you smiling as well! OK so now you two can pay me whenever you want for saying such nice things about you! HAHAHAHA They really are the dynamic duo!
