FARMINGTON – The American Red Cross of Maine would like to welcome Danielle Newman, a student at the University of Maine at Farmington.
Newman was recently selected for this highly competitive internship and will assist with Red Cross efforts in the financial development department for the next 16 weeks. This internship will provide Newman with an opportunity to learn about the administration and operation of a non-profit organization firsthand, learn the vital persuasive and business writing skills used in fundraising, and support the services provided by the American Red Cross through the state.
Newman’s internship is generously supported by Bangor Savings Bank and the University of Maine at Farmington’s Office of Civic Advancement.
