ORONO – University Credit Union, a full-service financial institution with branches across the state, is pleased to announce the promotion and hiring of key staff members Shauna Baker, Stacey Young and Stephanie Beck. Baker was promoted to operations manager, Young was promoted to retail services manager, and Beck was hired as marketing manager.
Baker has been with UCU for more than 12 years and has held a variety of positions along the way, most recently as training manager. Her new role as operations manager involves overseeing the department of loan and operations specialists who are assisting members in loan and deposit related inquiries and service. Baker is based in the 15 Main Street, Orono office.
Young has been with UCU for more than three years as the Bangor branch manager and has more than 20 years of experience in the banking industry. As retail services manager she will manage the day-to- day efforts of serving our members for our six retail branches, three campus branches and call center branch. Young is based out of the 15 Main Street, Orono office.
Beck joins UCU with most recently holding a position in marketing at a local law firm, and has background in sales and management. She has experience in brand development and public relations and will focus on member development through marketing outreach. She is based out of the Scarborough office.
