Wilton library to sell coffee

1 min read

WILTON – Beginning Tuesday, Oct. 21, the Wilton Free Public Library will begin selling coffee by the cup to go or drink in the library.

Through a partnership with Carrabassett Coffee Company, the library will be offering their Bad Dog medium/dark roast and Decaf medium roast. It will also be selling their own blend, the Bookworm Blend, in November. An 8 oz. cup is $1 and a 12 oz. cup is $1.50.

The library is making plans to build a patio on the south side of the library to allow people to sit and drink their coffee by the stream. The library staff is seeking grant money and local funds to complete the project next summer.

  1. This is such a charming library- a little architectural jewel by the river there. Fantastic idea the patio and the coffee.

  2. The Literacy Volunteers Board met there yesterday afternoon as the guest of the library and its director, Dave Olson. It is truly a jewel and the people of Wilton are fortunate to have it there. The coffee and a quiet space should be quite a drawing card,
