Wilton to host economic forum on April 14

WILTON –  The Town of Wilton and Greater Franklin Economic Development Corporation will host an economic forum at Calzolaio Pasta Company in Wilton on Monday, April 14 from 3 to 5 p.m.  The forum, “Wilton’s Future… Advanced Manufacturing, Agriculture, Energy, and Technology,” will be the first in a series to promote the town and Wilton business owners in these industries.

Business owners who have industrial and office space within the town and along the Route 2 corridor have been invited to this session.  Speakers for the session include  Darryl Sterling, former Director of Economic and Community Development for the Town of Richmond and now the Executive Director of the Central Maine Growth Council; Foster Regional Applied technology center Director Glen Kapiloff, Aaron Paul and Josh Broder from the Three-Ring Binder Project.  Alison Hagerstrom and Rhonda Irish will discuss the various assests of Wilton as well as business incentives.

Representatives from the offices of U.S. Sens. Susan Collins and Angus King and U.S. Rep Michael Michaud are invited and will tour some area business prior to the forum.
