The Town of Wilton Water Department will be flushing hydrants from May 20, 2013 to June 21, 2013 weather permitting. Most flushing will occur during DAYTIME HOURS, with Main Street at night. Loss of pressure and discolored water may result but should be of short duration. We will get it done as quickly as possible.

Notice to Farmington Water Department Customers: As a necessary part of water quality control, the Farmington Water Department will be flushing hydrants throughout the water system. The program this year will begin Monday evening May 20 and continue over the next week. The flushing times will be mostly the evening hours of 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. however there will be some daytime flushing. The flushing may cause some temporary instances of low pressure and discolored water. If you have any questions please call the Farmington Water Department office at 778-4777.

Public Notice By The Town Of Farmington: Voter Hill Road Construction. Beginning around the middle of May, the Farmington Public Works Department will be doing road construction on the Voter Hill Road. This is a complete rebuild of the road. Major work is expected to last until late July. Voter Hill Road will be reduced to a single lane or temporarily closed to traffic at various times during the construction period, so please allow extra travel time or find an alternate route. The Town of Farmington appreciates the patience and cooperation of the public during the construction period, and fully anticipates that the finished product will be worth any short term inconvenience.
