FARMINGTON – For the 32nd year, Trek Across Maine, a 3-day, 180-mile bicycle ride from Sunday River in Newry to Steamboat Landing Park in Belfast, got its start today.

Some 2,000 bikers rode 67 miles today and are staying the night at the University of Maine at Farmington Friday. The second leg tomorrow heads to Colby College for an overnight stay Saturday then onto Belfast Sunday.
