These are really great pictures. They capture the real essence of the fair. Thank you so much for sharing them.
Great memories, would like to make it back one more time.
Well done Jim!! Thank you for the wonderful pictures!
Carol
I can not get to these things any more so enjoy seeing some of my favorite things. LOVE the donkeys! Thanks.
Great pictures!
Nicely done!
The “Fair” always will be a special happening
Would love to be able to have one more Ray Magno ice cream bar (“Have an ice cream!) and see Mert K once more in a sulky
We really enjoyed the Fair pictures. Wish there were more.
They brought back memories of French fries with salt and vinegar,
eating pies from St. Joseph’s Booth, walking the midway ,chatting with
friends, getting dizzy on the tilt-a whirl and working in the grandstand
during the races. The exhibition hall was always so full of beautiful work done by hard-working people. I could go on but you get the idea. Always great to look forward
to every year.
Great pictures Jim, you do a great job. Thank you!
A prime selection of scenes and very well done. I regret the failure to memorialize the booth offering foot-long hot dog wrapped in bacon and coated with a beer batter. Future generations will see this as a land-mark in our progress to intravenous cholesterol booths. Maybe next year.
Very nice pictures.
