FARMINGTON – Mt. Blue Campus’ Career and Technical Education programs recognized some of their best students Friday, at the Foster CTE Gold Day Program Recognition Assembly.
The campus holds four such assemblies annually, one for Gold Day and one for Blue Day students at the end of each semester. It’s a chance to recognize the achievements of students studying in a wide variety of fields, ranging from metal fabrication to biotechnology to nursing to firefighting. Many of the recognized students were selected by their peers.
Each student received a certificate and hooded sweatshirt created by the school’s Commercial Arts program. Afterwards, the program students attend a barbecue put on by the Culinary Arts students.
“We have a little social time in recognition for the work everyone’s done at the end of the quarter,” CTE Director Glenn Kapiloff said.

- Autumn Clair, from the Mt. Blue Campus, for her work in the Agriculture Technology program.
- Nathan Fahn, from the Mt. Blue Campus, for his work in the Building Construction program.
