The sun sets by 4 at Parker Pond's boat launch in Vienna. A lone adult loon, seen near the islands through my lens, seems to be staying until the first freeze. Surely, Parker is warmer than its winter home in Penobscot Bay. (Jane Naliboff/Chesterville)

  2. Stunning pictures, you can almost feel the cold in some of them thanks to all who contributed,,

  3. these pictures are all very nice. The Sun setting over New Sharon Village Cemetery, with a fresh coat of snow. by Darlene Power is amazing. I could see this on the cover of a novel about some mysterious plot. Maybe a murder story or a dissaperance of a family member. I do so appreciate the effort of the local photographers! Keep that camera clicking.
