Another beautiful sunset. My sister, Beatrijs Quite, sent me this picture from Utrecht, The Netherlands, taken during her drive home from work. Willow trees are cut off to give this unique look and are then called 'Knot Willows'. This practice made harvesting the wood easier. The wood would be used to make wooden shoes, among other products. (Bernadette Harvell/Farmington)

  1. Thank you to each of you for the beauty depicted here. Especially I want to thank Bernadette Harvell for the photograph from her sister in the Netherlands. It helps us feel how close we can be to one another through nature despite the distance of miles.
