Local police seek missing Winthrop man

Joshua Dutch, 33, has been missing from his Winthrop residence since the late evening of Sept. 14. He may be in the Farmington area; anyone with information is being asked to contact the Franklin County Sheriff's Department.
FARMINGTON - Local residents are being asked to be on the lookout for a Winthrop man missing over the weekend, who might have been dropped off on Main Street.
Winthrop police have been searching for Joshua Dutch, 33, since he apparently walked away from his Stanley Road residence early Saturday morning. Dutch, who was last seen late Friday evening, may have hitchhiked into the Farmington downtown area sometime over the weekend, according to Franklin County Sheriff's Department Cpl. Kenneth Charles.
According to Winthrop police, Dutch did not take personal belongings or his vehicle. Searches in that area conducted by local and state first responders over the weekend did not locate Dutch, and police believe he may have been in the Farmington area.
Anyone with information about Dutch or his whereabouts is being encouraged to call the Franklin County Sheriff's Department at 778-2680.
Dutch is described by police as being 5-foot, 9-inches tall, weighing 150 pounds with brown eyes, hair and mustache, although his head has been shaved. He was likely wearing blue jeans and black work boots.

Is there a reason the police are looking for him? Is he is trouble or is his state of mind as such that he doesn't know what he is doing?
Does this man have special needs? Is there a reason the police are looking for him? Is he dangerous?
Sorry for all the questions, but I'm wondering why they are looking for him? Maybe he just wanted to "get away" for a while?
No, he is not dangerous. He left correspondence behind that has lead the police to think he may be a danger to himself and therefore his well being is of utmost importance. Any help would be appreciated.
Thank you.
saying prayers he is found unhurt
