‘Mixed Up’ celebrating successful year with Customer Appreciation Days

2 mins read

FARMINGTON – A local kitchenware store is celebrating its first year of operation with a new website, expanded inventory and customer appreciation days.

Mixed Up, located on the Farmington Falls Road next to Cornerstone Plumbing and Heating, opened a year ago after owner Diane Nielsen moved from Oquossoc to Farmington. The store features all kinds of cooking and baking supplies, cook books and more, both new and vintage. Brands include Emile Henry of France, Calphalon, Norpro, Cuisipro, Wilton cake decorating supplies as well as CK Products. The store also carries wooden-ware from J K Adams and baking products from King Arthur, both of Vermont, as well as a number of other suppliers.

“Inventory has expanded so much since opening,” Nielsen said Thursday. “New products and product lines arrive at least once a month, often more.”

Mixed Up also sells used and vintage kitchenware for those looking to replace a memory or a beloved tool that is no longer made.

Nielsen is also unveiling her new website, www.mixedupkitchen.com, as a way for customers to keep up with what’s new at the store. There is also a link to browse complete product lines and then come in to place a special order.

“Shoppers in Farmington and the surrounding area have really supported this business and shop local whenever possible,” Nielsen said. “We are grateful to customers who have become more like old friends and look forward to continued growth in the coming years.”

This Saturday, June 2, Mixed Up will start celebrating Customer Appreciation Days which will run for one week. There will be a FREE gift for the first 100 customers. Every customer will also be given a coupon for 30 percent off a single item of their choosing and everyone making a purchase will be entered into a drawing for several really wonderful prizes. Stop by and let us say “Thank You” in person! Mixed Up is open Tuesday-Saturday, 9-5
