  1. It doesn’t get any better than this season for me. Thanks for golden leaf-strewn trails, pond reflections & critters caught in the act.

  2. Tom, I love bluebirds , what a great shot. Everyone who contributes photos are examples of the talent we have here in the Franklin County area.

  3. Thank you to all the contributing photographers. Special thanks to Jim, Tom and Deelight for your right place/right time gems. I look forward to this segment all week.

  4. such talent in our area! Tom – pileated in flight awesome Deelight – love the porcupine!!

  5. Thank you so much George! An interesting thing about that photo is that I took it with my iphone. Phones are perfect to get on the same level as small, stationary subjects.
    Thanks again!

  6. Thanks so much for your kind words, Betsy! My blue ribbon pick of the week is for Jim Knox’ shot of the American bittern…truly spectacular tones and reflections in that well-framed capture.

  7. Great pictures, all! Love that Porcupine and those nails!! Furthest I’ve been is to hospital area and back many times with taxi. Not for pleasure, either No car makes life hard, so I look out my back door or top of hill. And then we have all of your lovely photos. Many thanks.
