Ouch! Today,  A Raccoon seen near the Livermore Falls Public Works Water Supply Rt 17 ..The Livermore Falls Police Dept. know about this.....Rabies  or not , I wouldn't be happy either!....Jim Knox.

    The photo of the unpicked apples on the tree after a snow fall was a great thought.

  5. So…the “silk” that the hummingbird was taking for her nest – is that revealing a sack of caterpillars? I’m confused, maybe, but that’s what it looks like to me. Can someone spell it out for me?

    The caterpillars were gathered on the outside of their nest. The hummingbird was taking small pieces where the nest was attached to the branches. I also thought there was a large hole when I first noticed it.

  7. Great pictures of course! I love the makeshift orange holder…is that a modified coat hanger?
