  1. Thanks everyone for sharing. I wondered where that indigo bunting went after it stopped at our feeders one day this Spring. Nice take on the horse in the meadow, Jim.

  2. This lake is actually Loon Lake shot from the Dallas Hill area up near Saddleback Lodge. This smaller of the the Rangeley Lakes is great place to scout out off Loon Hill Road where I live.

  3. The peony detail would make Georgia O’Keefe smile! Thanks, Elizabeth (Stu) Mehlin!

  5. I live in Florida but my heart is in Maine.
Thank you for the wonderful photography in the heart of Maine and the beauty that is in our backyards.

My 23 years in Maine were spent in Western Mountains (UMF and Carrabassett Valley) then Mid Coast (Camden Rockport, Rockland) – a move back to HOT Florida in 2000 – I still long for the beauty of Maine and visit as often as possible.
Finding the Daily Bulldog last fall was the GREATEST free press online paper – thank you again for the wonderful news, awesome photo’s and the good stories of your beautiful area.
