Three men indicted on sex crimes; 29 more facing various charges

FARMINGTON – A Franklin County grand jury handed down indictments for felony sex crimes in separate cases against residents of Wilton, Jay and Carthage on Aug. 25. In addition, 29 people were indicted on various charges.

Lance Woodbury, 40 of Wilton, was indicted on one count of gross sexual assault, a Class A felony. The indictment alleges that the crime was committed against a juvenile under the age of 14.

Wilton Police Department began investigating after receiving a referral from the Maine Department of Health and Human Services earlier this year. WPD Sgt. Chad Abbott investigated the referral with assistance from a Maine State Police detective, arresting Woodbury on May 25 after interviewing him in Farmington.

Also indicted, in a separate case, was Terry Greenleaf, 50, of Jay, on one count of unlawful sexual contact, a Class B felony. The indictment alleges that the crime was committed against a juvenile under the age of 12.

Jay Police Department began investigating Greenleaf after learning of allegations of abuse by a child under the age of 12 in December 2015. A representative of the Androscoggin Children’s Advocacy Center interviewed the child and Jay Police Detective Michael Mejia conducted an interview with Greenleaf. Following the interview, Greenleaf was arrested on Dec. 31, 2015.

Also indicted, in a separate case, was Nicholas Henry, 31 of Carthage, on one count of possession of sexually explicit materials, a Class C felony. The indictment alleges that Henry possessed images of children under the age of 12.

Maine State Police investigators seized Henry’s computer in April after receiving a tip and allegedly discovered “thousands of images of young girls.” After meeting with investigators at the State Police barracks in Gray on April 11, Henry was arrested.

Other residents indicted by a grand jury were:

Isaac A. Bryant, 28, of Jay, was indicted on a felony Class C charge of domestic violence assault.

Casey I. Campbell, 33, of Carthage, was indicted on a felony Class C charge of domestic violence assault and a Class E misdemeanor charge of violating a condition of release.

Derek S. Campbell, 30, of Wilton, was indicted on a felony Class C assault charge and a misdemeanor Class D charge of criminal mischief.

Michael Cormier, 19, of New Gloucester, was indicted on a felony Class C charge of violating a bail condition of release.

Michael A. Davis, 21, of Farmington, was indicted on two felony Class B burglary charges, two misdemeanor Class E charges of theft by unauthorized taking and two misdemeanor Class E receiving stolen property charges, one charge of felony Class C operating after revocation, a misdemeanor Class D charge of unauthorized use of property, and misdemeanor Class E violation of condition of release.

David J. Engler, 32, of Farmington, was indicted on a felony Class A charge of aggravated trafficking schedule drugs and felony Class B charge of criminal conspiracy.

Rafael S. Floyd, 47, of Wilton, was indicted on a felony Class C charge of domestic violence assault.

Tori L. Gifford, 38, of St. Albans, was indicted on two felony Class C charges of theft by unauthorized taking.

Molly Gillis, 28, of Skowhegan, was indicted on a Class C felony charge of theft by unauthorized taking.

Matthew P. Haines, 23, of Peru, was indicted on a Class C felony charge of burglary, Class D misdemeanor criminal mischief and Class E misdemeanor theft by unauthorized taking.

James E. C. Hamilton, 47, of Wilton, was indicted on two felony charges of Class C domestic violence terrorizing.

Kyre A. Hatfield, 18, of Farmington, was indicted on a charge of Class C burglary and Class D misdemeanor charge of stealing drugs.

Matthew R. Kerr, 25, of New Sharon, was indicted on a felony Class C charge of theft by unauthorized taking.

Travis J. Lambert, 17, of Farmington, was indicted on a felony Class C burglary charge and Class D charge of stealing drugs.

Scott A. Leo, 28, of Waterville, was indicted on two felony Class C charges of aggravated unlawful furnishing of schedule drugs, two Class D misdemeanor charges of furnishing liquor to a minor and a misdemeanor Class E charge of violation of condition of release.

Richard E. Lewis, 46, of Livermore Falls, was indicted on a Class C felony charge of terrorizing with a dangerous weapon.

Angela B. McKenna-Mason, 38, of Temple, was indicted on a Class C felony charge of operating after revocation and a Class E misdemeanor improper plates charge.

Scott M. McLean, 24, of Kingfield, was indicted on two felony Class C charges of aggravated unlawful furnishing of schedule drugs, a misdemeanor Class D charge of allowing a minor to possess or consume liquor and a Class D misdemeanor furnishing liquor to a minor.

Almon W. Mitchell, Jr., 50, of Fayette, was indicted on a felony Class C charge of operating after revocation, felony Class C criminal operating under the influence, Class E misdemeanor operating beyond license condition or restriction.

Garrett M. Morrow, 26, of Eliot, was indicted on a Class C felony charge of aggravated criminal trespass.

Anthony B. Nigro, 37, of St Albans, was indicted on two charges of Class C felony theft by unauthorized taking.

Jamie C. Ouellette, 38, of Wilton, was indicted eight charges of Class C felony violation of condition of release and two Class C felony charges of tampering with a witness of informant.

Tami L. Ouellette, 43, of Wilton, was indicted on seven felony Class C charges of violation of condition of release and a Class C felony charge of tampering with a witness or informant.

Stephen E. Pierce, 65, of Carrabassett Valley, was indicted on a Class C felony charge of criminal operating under the influence and a Class E misdemeanor charge of operating beyond license condition or restriction.

Cameron S. Rose, 21, of Jay, was indicted on a Class B felony charge of aggravated trafficking in schedule drugs.

Reda Sabri, 36, of Farmington, was indicted on a Class C felony charge of forgery, a Class C felony charge of burglary, two Class C felony charges of theft by unauthorized taking and a Class E misdemeanor charge of criminal trespass.

Tyler M. Thorndike, 24, of Farmington, was indicted on a Class C felony burglary charge, a Class E misdemeanor charge of theft by unauthorized taking, and a Class D misdemeanor charge of criminal mischief.

Nikita Tolman, 27, of Kingfield, was indicted on a Class C felony hindering apprehension or prosecution charge and Class D misdemeanor making a false public report.

Gina C. Welch, 21, of Jay, was indicated on a Class C felony charge of violating a condition of release.
