Busy season for New Vineyard Public Library

Head over heels for the New Vineyard Public Library.

NEW VINEYARD – The New Vineyard Public Library has been a busy with activities this fall. The Fun Family Fall Day held in October brought families together for pumpkin decorating, scarecrow building, book reading and games for everyone.

The annual craft and bake sale was a great success with many local crafters helping with the holiday shopping lists and of course home baked pies, breads and goodies became part of many Thanksgiving tables.

Our special thanks to all the New Vineyard artisans and business who provided prizes for the library’s hometown raffle. All donations benefit the library’s programming efforts, such as the First Family Read Night to be held on Thursday, Dec. 20 from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the New Vineyard Public Library. Kids and parents, old friends and new are welcome to come enjoy Christmas stories, music, and cookies. Stay for one story or several, and leave when you’re ready.

The library’s hours have changed: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 2 to 6 p.m.; Friday and Saturday 10 to noon. We hope to see you at the library soon!
