Call for artists & crafters at Rangeley Logging Festival

2 mins read

RANGELEY – Saturday, July 28th marks the celebration of the 32nd Annual Rangeley Logging Festival and parade. Once again, there’s more to this year’s Festival than ever before! State and federal dignitaries will be on hand to help us honor this area’s long-held tradition of working in the woods. After the parade The Rangeley Lakes Region Logging Museum will host the Logging Festival at the Museum grounds at 221 Stratton Road just outside of Rangeley.

A new draw to the Logging Festival this year is the “Great Maine Lumberjack Show” with Timber Tina and the LumberJills coming to us from Ellsworth. Pairing this with a newly-formatted woodsmen’s competition will provide entertainment for attendees all afternoon. This is a great opportunity for vendors since you virtually have a guaranteed audience as Festival goers come to the Logging Museum for the traditional Bean Hole Dinner right after the Parade and stay to enjoy the festivities. This date, July 28, also coincides with the Travis Tritt Concert later that evening at the Wellness Pavilion, so Rangeley will be a busy town and it should be a great day for vendors.

Spaces are 10’ x 10’ plus elbowroom for $25 per space. There are a few spaces with electricity for $35. Overall there are limited spaces available, so please reserve early. Set up starts at 8 a.m. and hours are 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. There is no rain date for this event. Please contact Tom or Carol Sullivan, 864-3640 or carol@foxrunstudios.com, for more details and a vendor’s application. Deadline for entries is July 20th. www.rlrlm.org.
