NEW VINEYARD – This beautiful well-mannered Husky was found at my home in new Vineyard last week.

He is currently at the Franklin County Animal Shelter. In a few days he will be put up for adoption. I am trying all avenues possible to reunite him with his family.

He appeared to be well groomed and very well taken care of. He has been neutered, has a very sweet disposition, is housebroken, will NOT get on furniture (I tried to make him comfortable), and knows commands such as sit, lay down, and shake….and he may very well know a lot more. If you know of anyone that may be missing him, please share this!! Lets get this beauty home!!

Call the shelter at 778-2638 if you have information to return this dog back to his home.

  1. What a dear, sweet, thoughtful thing to do – to work so hard to reunite such a lovely dog with his family. I am sure they are heartbroken. I hope we see a follow-up to this posting. Best of luck to you and to the dog, and his family.

  2. I sure hope that this beautiful, lovely baby finds a home where he will loved and treasured. Apparently his previous owner does not feel this way. Good luck beautiful….

  3. Why pass judgement if you don’t know the situation? Perhaps the dog ran off when someone was house-sitting, a child opened the door, a fence broke, the car window was open, someone tried to steal him, etc. A well-behaved, healthy looking dog is more than likely loved. I hope his people find him.

  4. How handsome!! I forget how gorgeous these dogs are. My neighbor is an animal hoarder
and starves his dog and his 30 plus cats!!! And yes we have reported this to no avail!!! The smell of pet waste has made it impossible to work in my garden or swim in my pool. Strong looks the other way.

  5. Wow please call me about the situation you are speaking of. I recently have become ACO and do not know the problem you are speaking of. 684-3920

  6. This looks like my brothers dog he lost awhile ago name merrickhttps://dailybulldog.com/happenings/do-you-know-this-dog/!

  7. I saw a poster about a lost Husky at Anni’s Market on the bulletin board in Kingfield two months ago. Owners were frantic. I’m sure I saw the poster for the same do in several other places, but the owners weren’t local. Maybe they went skiing and the dog go loose? I’ll try to remember more and make a couple calls to see where I saw the poster and contact info.
